‘Reading Ulsan’ Online Book Review Contest … Ulsan Library, 3 Categories for Children, Adolescents, and Adults
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] An online book report contest will be held in Ulsan.
Ulsan Library will hold the "2022 Reading Ulsan, Book of the Year Online Book Report Contest" from August 2 to October 23 as a follow-up activity to encourage citizens' reading, following the selection of "Reading Ulsan, Book of the Year."
This book report contest is divided into three categories: children (elementary school students), youth (middle and high school students), and adults. Citizens residing in Ulsan, as well as those attending school or working in Ulsan, can participate.
The books eligible for the contest are the three selected titles for the "2022 Reading Ulsan, Book of the Year": the children's book "From Today, BFF! BFF!" (author Jian), the youth book "Pilgrimage House" (author Yoo Eun-sil), and the adult book "The Greenhouse at the End of the Earth" (author Kim Cho-yeop).
Book reports should be written according to the length requirements: one A4 page for the children’s category, 1 to 2 pages for the youth category, and at least 2 pages for the adult category, expressing thoughts and impressions after reading the book.
Submissions can be made by uploading one application form and one book report on the book report contest bulletin board on the Ulsan Library website. The forms can be downloaded from the Ulsan Library website.
Outstanding works will be awarded: the adult category will receive the Mayor’s Award, and the children and youth categories will receive the Superintendent of Education Award. The results will be announced on the Ulsan Library website and notified individually in December, with the award ceremony scheduled for December.
