Dong-A Pharmaceutical Launches Redesigned Packaging for Oral Care Product 'Garglin'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Dong-A Pharmaceutical announced on the 28th that it will unveil a new package design for its oral rinse 'Garglin.'
The renewed Garglin includes five products: Original, Zero, Strong, Chamomile, and Lime. The label design, which previously featured colors, has been changed to a transparent gradient label design to make the product contents clearly visible. Garglin contains no coloring agents, so the contents are as clear as water. Additionally, the label on the back of the product has been changed to white so that consumers can easily check the full ingredients and precautions.
A Dong-A Pharmaceutical official said, "This design renewal was carried out to better communicate the product's features and enhance consumer convenience," adding, "We will continue to strive as a brand that protects the oral health of the public."
Garglin, the first oral rinse introduced in Korea in 1982, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. The company has expanded consumer choices by launching various products such as 'Children's Garglin' for children's oral health and the portable spray-type 'Garglin Fresh.'

To facilitate recycling, the packaging has been changed from colored containers to colorless transparent containers, and for environmental protection, Children's Garglin uses in-mold labels that can be easily removed.
