On the 23rd, the 6th group, team 1 of the Haebaragi Volunteer Group visited the ‘Anda Animal Shelter’ in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, and began their volunteer work by creating a pleasant environment, including thoroughly cleaning the cages and spaces where the abandoned animals live despite the hot weather.
They then spent various times together, such as taking walks to nearby areas for the health of the abandoned dogs and interacting with them, as well as tidying up the surrounding environment and delivering pet food.
This volunteer activity was planned to raise social awareness and careful consideration for pets during the summer vacation season, when many abandoned animals appear.
