Gyeonggi-do to Operate 'Valley Experience Program' from July to November
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will operate various experiential programs such as forest meditation and camping at five valleys in the province, including Baegun Valley in Pocheon, from July to November.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 28th that the valley experience programs will be held starting with Baegun Valley in Pocheon on July 29 and August 12, followed by ▲Cheonggyecheon in Uiwang in August ▲Cheonghakcheon in Namyangju in September ▲Eobi Valley in Gapyeong in October ▲Sanasa Valley in Yangpyeong from October to November.
First, at Baegun Valley in Pocheon, an eco-friendly program themed "Eco-friendly Value Trip to Baegun Valley" will be operated, including plogging?jogging along the valley while picking up trash.
At Eobi Valley in Gapyeong, a 1-night 2-day camping program called "Forest Camping Trip Following Eobi Valley" will be prepared, where families can cook and enjoy adventures together in the dense forest. Various leisure activities such as recreation, cooking contests, and ecological exploration can be enjoyed.
At Cheonggyecheon in Uiwang, a walking meditation and yoga program called "A Journey of Dialogue with Myself in Cheonggyecheon" will be held in nature; at Cheonghakcheon in Namyangju, a healing program called "Five Senses Journey in the Forest of Cheonghakcheon," where participants can see, hear, feel, and taste nature; and at Sanasa Valley, a 1-night 2-day "Autumn Sensibility Trip" including temple stay will be conducted.
The participation fee for this program is 10,000 won, and to revitalize the local economy, the full amount will be returned in local currency after participation.
