Shall We See the Skills of the Future Sea Heroes? ... Busan Port Authority, Sea Love Children's Writing and Drawing Contest Award Ceremony
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan Port Authority (BPA) held the awards ceremony for the '2022 Love the Sea Children's Writing and Drawing Contest' on the 27th at the main auditorium of its headquarters.
This contest was held on the lawn of the National Maritime Museum in Yeongdo-gu, Busan, on the 2nd and 3rd, with 1,927 participants to commemorate the 15th Busan Port Festival. Among them, 313 competed in writing and 1,614 in drawing.
Six education experts judged the entries and selected a total of 300 award-winning works, including 6 gold prizes, 10 silver prizes, and 224 bronze prizes.
About 45 people, including gold and silver prize winners and their families, attended the awards ceremony.
President Kang Jun-seok personally presented certificates to the winners, and the winners and their families had a meaningful time touring Busan Port on board the port guide ship Saenuri-ho.

Kang Jun-seok, president of BPA, said, "The commonality between all the children who participated in the contest and the sea is hope," adding, "We will make various efforts so that children, the future leaders of the marine industry, can realize their dreams and hopes."
