Russia Reduces Nord Stream 1 Supply to 20% Level
[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] As Russia had declared, the capacity of natural gas flowing to Europe through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline has been reduced to about 20% of the total limit.
On the 27th, according to Germany's energy operator Gascade, Russia announced that it has reduced the amount of natural gas supplied through Nord Stream 1. Russia had previously warned that it would cut natural gas supply.
Already in Europe, concerns over winter natural gas supply have caused natural gas prices to rise by more than 20%.

Italy's energy company Eni also reported that Gazprom's gas supply has decreased to 27 million cubic meters. This is about a 20% reduction from the recent natural gas supply of 34 million cubic meters.
