Coinone Offers 'Hangul Version Whitepaper'... Virtual Asset Specification Updated by Over 90%
Increase Information Accessibility by Providing English White Paper in Korean Version
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Myunghwan] Coinone announced on the 27th that it has completed over 90% of the updates to its virtual asset specifications. Coinone plans to complete the specification updates for all virtual assets listed on the exchange within the second half of the year.
The virtual asset specification service was first introduced by Coinone in May 2017 as the industry's first service to protect investors. It provides summaries of virtual asset whitepapers, which are mostly written in English, in Korean. According to Coinone, this aims to correct information asymmetry for investors and prevent speculative investments.
The virtual asset specifications include objective information that investors can refer to when making investment decisions, such as the project's business plan, key personnel, token issuance volume, token distribution ratio, and roadmap.
