Lee Dal-hee, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Gyeongbuk Province, held a meeting with Hong Kong legislators and investment groups to discuss cooperation projects, including investments in promising local small and medium-sized enterprises and startup companies.

The Hong Kong investment delegation visited Korea to attend the opening ceremony of the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC).
This meeting was arranged at the request of the Hong Kong investment delegation, who had shown special interest in Gyeongbuk even before their visit.
The Hong Kong investment group operates an investment firm called Goldford and is known as a global investment company investing in global concerts, cultural spaces, and theme parks together with Tencent Music.

Deputy Governor Lee Dal-hee expressed gratitude, saying, “I appreciate Wu Je-jang, Hong Kong Legislative Council member, and the investment delegation for their special visit due to their deep interest in Gyeongbuk. Regarding the construction of the integrated new airport, we ask for investment in service, tourism, logistics sectors, as well as promising local SMEs and startup companies.” He added, “Through this meeting, let us continue to discover projects that can cooperate with Gyeongbuk Province.”
