Gmarket Partners with Hanguk Microsoft to Launch Official Store

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Gmarket announced on the 27th that it will strengthen mutual cooperation with Microsoft Korea and exclusively operate Microsoft's online store through its own channels, Gmarket and Auction.
Starting with the exclusive opening of the official Microsoft store, the two companies will carry out various marketing activities to enhance e-commerce competitiveness. They also plan to cooperate to increase customer benefits and convenience.
At Microsoft's official store opened on Gmarket and Auction, customers can purchase Surface product lines, various PC accessories, Xbox game consoles, and game accessories.
The two companies plan to introduce various new Microsoft products together through the official store in the future and combine their experience and capabilities by presenting various marketing promotions.
Lee Ji-eun, CEO of Microsoft Korea, said, "We are pleased to open the official Microsoft online store through this partnership and to showcase various Microsoft products, including the Surface product line, to domestic consumers," adding, "We will actively support the establishment of a more sustainable e-commerce ecosystem in Korea based on Microsoft's products and technology."
