GC Green Cross Medical Foundation Signs Tripartite Investment Agreement with Gyeongnam Province and Yangsan City to Establish Regional Testing Center

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] GC Green Cross Medical Foundation announced on the 26th that it has signed a tripartite investment agreement with Gyeongsangnam-do and Yangsan City to establish a regional testing center.
GC Green Cross Medical Foundation has decided to actively cooperate with Gyeongnam Province and Yangsan City to efficiently promote the development of the biohealth industry in the southeastern region and strengthen the public health care system.
According to the agreement, GC Green Cross Medical Foundation plans to invest 40 billion KRW in the Mulgeum-eup area of Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province, to establish an infectious disease research and internationally recognized diagnostic testing medical institution, and to employ about 70 specialized medical personnel.
Lee Sang-gon, Senior Vice President of GC Green Cross Medical Foundation, said, "The establishment of the new testing center in Yangsan is a new challenge and opportunity for our foundation," adding, "Starting from this investment agreement, we promise to create quality jobs in Yangsan, Gyeongnam Province to revitalize the local economy and provide the best health care services."

GC Green Cross Medical Foundation provides high-quality specimen testing services within the region based on regional testing centers established in Gwangju and Jeju, in addition to its main branch in Yongin. Based on this agreement, the foundation plans to expand and operate testing centers from Honam and Jeju to Yeongnam, thereby strengthening medical services within local communities.
