Lee Jun-seok who went to Ulleungdo: "I have a lot to say to those who have sincerely protected the party"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the People Power Party, announced that he visited Ulleungdo to meet party members. After being suspended from party membership for six months by the party's Central Ethics Committee due to allegations of sexual bribery and evidence destruction, Lee has been continuing his regional visits for over ten days.
On the night of the 25th, Lee posted on Facebook, saying, "I had a conversation with party members of Ulleungdo while touring the elephant-shaped rock and Nari Basin," adding, "Even if only five party members in Ulleungdo want to meet me, I will visit them all." He further stated, "There are many things I want to say to the party members who have loyally supported the party without personal interests for a long time."
Earlier, on the 24th, Lee visited Pohang, Gyeongbuk, where he held a lightning meeting with supporters at a chicken restaurant, continuing his tour of the TK (Daegu·Gyeongbuk) region.
