Jeju Fire Station Operates 'Safety Experience Program' for Wollang Elementary School
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Jeju Fire Station (Chief Ko Jae-woo) announced on the 25th that on the 23rd, it operated a safety experience tour program for 43 students from Wolrang Elementary School of the 119 Youth Group at the Jeju Safety Experience Center.
In this training, various experiential activities were held, including fire evacuation and escape drills, natural disaster response guidelines, and youth traffic safety, utilizing 10 facilities across 5 experience zones for fire, emergency medical services, and natural disasters at the Jeju Safety Experience Center.
Chief Ko Jae-woo said, “We will provide many experiential education opportunities in the future so that the 119 Youth Group members can naturally learn safety culture, respond to emergencies, and grow as leaders in future fire safety.”
Meanwhile, the 119 Youth Group Jeju Fire Station branch is organized with 155 members across 5 teams, and new recruitment for the 119 Youth Group is announced every April.
