Magnitude 2.5 Earthquake Near Sariwon, Hwanghaebuk-do, North Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] At around 6:27 a.m. on the 23rd, the Korea Meteorological Administration reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.5 occurred near Sariwon, Hwanghaebuk-do, North Korea.
The epicenter of the earthquake was analyzed to be 13 km southwest by south of Sariwon. The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "It is analyzed as a natural earthquake."
