Gwangju University Hosts 'Networking Day' to Strengthen Competitiveness of Startup Incubator Tenants
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Dongjin) announced on the 20th that it recently held a ‘Networking Day’ to strengthen the competitiveness of tenant companies in the startup incubation center.
The ‘2022 Gwangju-Jeonnam 5 Institutions Startup Incubation Center Tenant Companies Networking Day’ was jointly hosted by five startup incubation center institutions in Gwangju and Jeonnam, including Gwangju University, Donggang University, Nambu University, Dongshin University, and Korea Electric Power Corporation.
The event aimed to enhance corporate competitiveness through sharing solutions and know-how for difficulties faced by startup companies, establish a stable market entry foothold and expand sales channels by supporting early startup growth, and improve startup success rates by emphasizing the importance of investment attraction and its utilization. The event was conducted through expert lectures by field specialists and group mentoring.
The lecture titled ‘How to Write a Business Plan for Investment Attraction’ featured representatives from the investment sector including CEO Jo Yongguk of North Mountain and CEO Kim Woojo of BM Makers, and from the marketing sector including Manager Choi Baekyoung of GS Home Shopping and Manager Lee Hyungchan of Nonghyup Economic Holdings Company.
Gwangju University plans to continuously support participating companies in ‘Networking Day’ by holding briefing sessions for investment attraction negotiation processes, export preparation processes, progress status, crowdfunding operators, and export support related organizations.
