[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam National University Hospital (Director Ahn Younggeun), Buk-gu District Office of Gwangju Metropolitan City, and KCTV Gwangju Broadcasting have joined hands to provide high-quality health information.
On the 19th, the three organizations signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for Supporting Residents' Health and Daily Life Recovery" at the Buk-gu Office, attended by Director Ahn Younggeun, Buk-gu Mayor Moon In, CEO Choi Yonghoon, and other officials, agreeing to cooperate in promoting the health and quality of life of local residents.
The specific contents of the agreement include ▲ production of health and medical information programs for local residents ▲ provision of customized information by disease ▲ mutual cooperation in broadcasting video content.
In particular, Jeonnam National University Hospital professors will produce one health and medical information video each month, which will be broadcast at 28 administrative welfare centers within Buk-gu, the Buk-gu Public Health Center, and affiliated institutions so that residents can watch them anywhere.
Director Ahn Younggeun said, "It has become possible for local governments, hospitals, and broadcasters to cooperate to provide high-quality medical information for the health promotion of local residents," adding, "Jeonnam National University Hospital, as a regional base hospital responsible for the health of local residents, will take the lead in promoting residents' health through active cooperation with local governments and related organizations."
Meanwhile, Jeonnam National University Hospital signed a memorandum of understanding with Dong-gu Office of Gwangju last November to improve public medical services, and plans to continue agreements with various local governments and public institutions.
