View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Mart announced on the 21st that Bottle Bunker has officially launched a mobile application (app) that provides a wine curation platform service.
The Bottle Bunker app offers a smart pickup service that allows customers to check real-time store inventory and make reservations in advance to pick up items immediately at the store. Reflecting that over 70% of store phone inquiries were about inventory, the app enables users to easily and quickly find desired products in real time. It is also possible to check the shelf location of products found in the app, and scan the QR code on the store product price card to view detailed wine information.
A personalized recommendation feature based on users' purchase and product search history has also been introduced. This personalized service provides products best suited to individual preferences and interests, suggesting wines that match the user's taste. Additionally, users can directly leave tasting records of wines purchased from Bottle Bunker, offering another enjoyable way to develop their wine preferences.
The weekly tasting tap list, previously announced on Bottle Bunker's official Instagram, can now be checked in real time through the app. Since the opening of Bottle Bunker stores, the tasting tap has gained great popularity mainly among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z). It is a paid wine tasting service that allows customers to sample various wines by the glass according to different themes.
