Shinan Social Security Council Selected for Social Welfare Community Chest Public Project
Three Projects Selected in Contest Hosted by Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest
[Sinan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, was finally selected for the ▲2022 Priority Support Project for Welfare Issues, ▲Support Project for Spreading a Sharing Culture, and ▲2022 With-Corona Safety Management Support Project, all organized by the Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest in 2022, with the Sinan-gun Community Social Security Council.
Through this public contest project selection, Sinan-gun will receive a budget of approximately 59 million KRW to provide housing improvement support for elderly living alone and disabled people who have poor residential conditions. In addition, through welfare services that can be felt in daily life, such as COVID-19 test kits and living expense support, it is expected to provide great support to low-income vulnerable residents who are exhausted and struggling due to high inflation, high oil prices, and the resurgence of COVID-19.
The Sinan-gun Community Social Security Council has been steadily working for the improvement of welfare in Sinan-gun for the past 16 years. It was selected for the Priority Support Project for Welfare Issues applied to the Social Welfare Community Chest and the vehicle support project promoted in 2021, greatly contributing to the establishment of a community protection system in Sinan-gun and the improvement of the quality of life of vulnerable groups.
