Muan-gun Holds Regulatory Reform Idea Contest

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, is holding a regulatory reform idea contest where citizens can directly propose and improve regulations until the 26th of next month.
Anyone, including citizens, companies, and organizations, can participate in this contest. Those who wish to participate can download the submission form from the county website and submit it via email, registered mail, or visit in person to apply.
The contest categories include ▲Resident Welfare ▲Daily Life & Safety ▲Employment & Jobs ▲Industry & Business ▲Other fields, covering all regulations surrounding our lives. However, suggestions related to tax imposition and collection, simple complaints, or opinions already submitted are excluded.
The county plans to award prize money to 10 winners after review and evaluation by the Regulatory Reform Committee: ▲1 Grand Prize winner (700,000 KRW) ▲2 Excellence Prize winners (500,000 KRW each) ▲3 Encouragement Prize winners (300,000 KRW each) ▲4 Effort Prize winners (100,000 KRW each). The winners will be announced on the county website in October.
County Governor Kim San said, “Selected ideas will be used to revise local ordinances or be proposed to central government ministries to promote regulatory innovation that citizens can feel.” He added, “We hope many people will take interest and participate in this contest.”
