Gwangju Seobu Fire Department Conducts Emergency Safety Inspections at Harbors to Prepare for Ship Fires

The fire activity review meeting is held when it is deemed necessary to review major, important, or special fires afterward, to thoroughly analyze and review the cause of the fire, damage situation, and fire suppression activities, in order to prepare thoroughly for similar fires and find areas for improvement.

Kim Young-ho, chief of the Western Fire Station, said, “We will supplement the shortcomings identified through this fire activity review meeting and actively reflect improvements to enhance disaster response capabilities. We will do our best to minimize damage through more efficient on-site response in the event of fires or other disasters.”
