hy 'PetSlim' Wins Innovation Award at International Probiotics Conference
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] hy announced on the 18th that its functional probiotic for body fat reduction, 'FatSlim,' won the Innovation Award at the '2022 International Probiotics Conference (IPC)'.
Now in its 15th year, the IPC is the world's largest academic conference in the field of gut health and intestinal microbiota. More than 500 professors and scientists from over 80 countries worldwide participate to share the latest industry trends and expertise. This year's conference was held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.
FatSlim is the core strain of hy's B2B material business and is a Korean-type probiotic isolated from kimchi. The 12-week human application test results were highly evaluated for proving the process of changing the composition and diversity of the gut microbiome, which can help prevent metabolic syndrome such as obesity. Obesity-related hormones were also significantly regulated upon intake.
