OB Beer Hanmac Releases Commercial Video Featuring Actor Lee Byung-hun in 'Raw Material Process' Episode
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] OB Beer’s Hanmac released the ‘Raw Material Process’ advertisement video featuring actor Lee Byung-hun on the 18th.
The advertisement emphasized the identity and uniqueness of ‘Korea’s representative lager Hanmac,’ made with Korean-style ingredients and methods. Hanmac is a high-quality lager that offers a balanced experience of carbonation, body, flavor, and aroma. By adding 100% domestically produced rice, it completes a refreshing beer taste favored by Koreans. To achieve this, additional manufacturing processes such as rice processing (storage, selection, weighing, grinding) were added to the malt process.
In the video, when asked, “Why bother adding 100% domestically produced rice, why go through more processes, why drink Hanmac?” Lee Byung-hun answers, “Because our taste buds are a bit picky, right?” The video then shows Lee Byung-hun slowly savoring the taste and aroma of Hanmac.
The Hanmac brand manager said, “Through this video vividly showing Hanmac’s manufacturing process made with our ingredients and methods, we wanted to convey Hanmac’s unique strengths to consumers,” adding, “In the second half of this year, Hanmac will carry out various activities to expand its touchpoints with consumers as Korea’s representative lager.”
