Training 200 In-House Experts for SME Smart Factories
Jungjinkong, Recruiting 2nd Batch of Trainees for Advanced Long-term Course for Smart Factory Employees
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced that it will recruit trainees to participate in the '2022 2nd Long-term Advanced Course for Smart Factory Employees' from the 18th of this month to the 3rd of next month.
The participants are employees of small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies that have introduced smart factories, and 200 trainees will be recruited. The training fields include ▲Data Analysis ▲Manufacturing Automation ▲Operations Management, and applicants can choose one to apply for. The training participation fee is free.
The training course consists of online and offline training and on-site projects. It includes theoretical training on overall smart factory operations, practical training using the Smart Factory Learning Center, and trainee-led on-site projects to identify and improve problems at the company site.
The training period is a total of 3 months. Specifically, it consists of ▲Orientation (6 hours) ▲Online theoretical training (48 hours) ▲Offline practical training (16 hours) ▲On-site project (80 hours) ▲Results presentation and completion ceremony (10 hours), totaling 160 hours.
Based on last year's operation results, SBC improved the training operation by establishing an online application system and expanding the selection of online training courses. The training locations were also expanded from the existing five locations?Ansan, Jeonju, Changwon, Gyeongsan, and Cheonan?to six locations including Gwangju Metropolitan City, enhancing convenience for trainees.
In the first long-term advanced course, 450 people applied, exceeding the target of 360, showing a high participation rate. SBC plans to provide demand-tailored training this year as well to offer practical help in the field.
