Lotte Property & Development announced on the 14th that it will present various cultural contents under the theme of 'Romance and Rest in Midsummer' at the Lotte World Tower lawn plaza, including summer night busking, movie character sculptures, and lantern exhibitions.
Starting from the 16th, 'Lotta Busking' will be held every Saturday at the Lotte World Tower Arena Plaza. From 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, two artist teams will offer the romance of summer nights. Anyone can comfortably sit on the grass and watch, and since there is no separation between the stage and the audience, communication between artists and spectators is free. On the 16th, singer Kyung Seo Yeji will open the 'Lotta Busking' series.
At the Lotte World Tower World Park, visitors can also meet the main characters of the upcoming movie 'Minions 2,' which is set to be released on the 20th. A 6-meter-tall Minions sculpture called 'Minions Kkuju' will be on display until the 24th, and various on-site events will be held, such as giving special goods to those who upload a certification shot on their personal SNS with the required hashtags. On Fridays and weekends, visitors can also encounter Minions costumes roaming around the World Park.
The lantern exhibition commemorating the release of the movie 'Hansan: Rising Dragon' will be held at World Park until August 7th. Large lanterns that are hard to see in the city, such as a roughly 5-meter-tall Admiral Yi Sun-sin lantern and an approximately 8-meter-long Turtle Ship lantern, will be installed to provide a unique visual experience on summer nights.
Citizens are enjoying the large lantern display of the movie 'Hansan: Rising Dragon'.

Additionally, Lotte Museum will hold the largest domestic exhibition of artist Shepard Fairey titled EYES OPEN - MINDS OPEN from the 29th to November 6th. Shepard Fairey gained worldwide attention in 2008 for his portrait poster 'HOPE' of Barack Obama, the U.S. presidential candidate at the time.
