Worker on tracks at Jungnang Station involved in train accident
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyung-min] A worker performing track maintenance at Jungnang Station on the Seoul Subway was injured after being hit by a train.
According to the fire authorities on the 13th, Jungnang Fire Station responded at around 4:24 PM after receiving a report that "a worker on the tracks was involved in an accident with a train." The worker reportedly collided with an ITX-Cheongchun train that was operating at the time while performing track work. The injured person's gender and identity have not yet been confirmed. Jungnang Police Station, responding in cooperation with the fire authorities, is currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
