According to Gong-su-cheo on the 13th, Prosecutor Kim, belonging to the Investigation Division 3 (Chief Prosecutor Choi Seok-gyu), recently submitted a resignation letter. Gong-su-cheo is currently processing Prosecutor Kim's resignation in accordance with relevant regulations.
Before Prosecutor Kim expressed his intention to resign, Gong-su-cheo had announced recruitment for 2 chief prosecutors and 1 regular prosecutor to fill the 22 prosecutor positions. The related procedures are currently underway. However, with Prosecutor Kim's resignation, even if recruitment is completed, one position will remain vacant.

Currently, excluding Prosecutor Kim who expressed his intention to resign, the total number of prosecutors at Gong-su-cheo is 21.
