[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] CJ OnStyle announced on the 13th that it will exclusively sell fruit T-shirts in collaboration with the street fashion brand 'Kimssine Gwailgage' on the 14th.
Kimssine Gwailgage drives a truck like a real fruit vendor and travels nationwide, selling fruit-printed T-shirts at street stalls. The guerrilla-style announcement of sales locations on the day via social networking services (SNS) has attracted attention and gained popularity among Generation Z.
The collaboration between CJ OnStyle and Kimssine Gwailgage started from an idea by a Generation Z employee in CJ ENM's commerce division. Kim Hyun-ji, MD of the Celeb Shop team at CJ OnStyle, explained, "We proposed selling Kimssine Gwailgage T-shirts, which are loved by Generation Z, on a home shopping channel mainly targeting the 40s and 50s age group, thinking it would be interesting. Kimssine Gwailgage, which had only operated offline pop-ups, accepted this proposal to offer a fun experience to more customers."
The sale on the 14th will allow customers to choose two T-shirts from about 20 types featuring fruits such as apples, bananas, and peaches. Customers who purchase during the broadcast will also receive a fan, stickers, and a 'bongdari' (bag) symbolizing the Kimssine Gwailgage brand.

Meanwhile, Kim Do-young, a graphic designer who runs 'Kimssine Gwailgage,' built recognition by producing so-called 'RAP TEE' featuring famous rappers like Beenzino and Jay Park on T-shirts even before founding the brand. Designer Kim said, "I am happy to conduct live commerce with CJ OnStyle for the first time as a brand," adding, "I hope more customers will feel the sensibility and fun that Kimssine Gwailgage embodies."
