Action Square Releases Gameplay Video of 'Kingdom: Wangga-ui Pi'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Action Square released gameplay footage of the game "KINGDOM: The Blood," which utilizes the intellectual property (IP) of the drama "Kingdom," on the 12th. As the Kingdom series produced by Ace Story gained popularity, interest in K-zombies overseas has increased.
"KINGDOM: The Blood" is being developed as a cross-platform game for PC and mobile. It features high-quality 3D graphics that faithfully recreate the original characters and the distinctive Kingdom zombies.
A company representative said, "Through the gameplay footage, you can see the protagonist ‘Lee Chang’’s cloak fluttering in the wind with excellent art quality," adding, "We have verified traditional Korean rituals to faithfully reproduce the Kingdom series’ worldview and atmosphere."
The game showcases the ruined Hanyang Fortress caused by zombies, contrasted with the beautiful palace scenery. Original characters such as the rogue NPC (non-playable character) and other traditional Korean elements are realized with high-quality graphics. The unique features of Hanbok are also reproduced with high-quality graphics. It is expected that various costumes and character creation customization will attract the interest of overseas users.
