On the 12th, Hyundai Oilbank announced that it installed an outdoor LED display on the wall of the Sadang Self Gas Station in Seoul and will exhibit digital artworks. The gas station is transforming into a digital art gallery. Hyundai Oilbank is partnering with the digital art platform 'Third Space' to display about 100 digital artworks throughout this month at the gas station. The 158-inch display shows a new artwork every 40 seconds.
A Hyundai Oilbank official said, "We started the exhibition with the hope that customers could fill the time spent refueling or waiting for a car wash with a more unique experience," adding, "We believe it is a valuable attempt just to have the gas station serve not only as a place for refueling but also as a platform for exhibiting and appreciating artworks."
Recently, a Hyundai Oilbank gas station in Gangneung has also become popular among campers. Hyundai Oilbank partnered with the camping car manufacturer and rental company ‘K-CAMP’ to open a 'Dump Station' at the Saemteo Gas Station, a facility that handles wastewater from camping cars and supplies clean water.
The camping population in Korea is rapidly increasing every year, estimated at about 7 million as of last year. However, there are still insufficient facilities to treat camping wastewater domestically, causing many campers to dispose of wastewater and refill water at public restrooms. Hyundai Oilbank plans to expand the Dump Station to promote a healthy camping culture and continuously introduce various services combining camping and gas stations, such as camping equipment rental, storage, and sales.

Additionally, Hyundai Oilbank will offer special services for disabled people and pregnant women who find it difficult to use self-service gas stations. Starting in July, Hyundai Oilbank announced it will operate a 'Fueling Helper Call Service' at 177 directly managed self-service gas stations nationwide. The 'Fueling Helper Call Service' is a service where gas station staff assist disabled and pregnant customers who have difficulty operating kiosks and fuel pumps. Customers can receive fueling assistance by pressing the 'Staff Call' button on the self-service pump or by requesting help via phone at the gas station.
