The police plan to transfer the suspects, including the former chiefs, to the prosecution soon. The former chiefs who have been booked are reported to have denied the charges, stating that their communication with the companies was part of the 'Tax Administration Council,' a public-private consultative body aimed at gathering opinions from local taxpayers.
