KOTRA and Haeyang University Join Forces to Strengthen Foreign Investment Attraction Capabilities
Business Agreement Ceremony and Foreign Investment Company Recruitment Briefing at Korea Maritime University on the 11th
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] KOTRA announced on the 12th that Invest Korea, its dedicated foreign investment attraction agency, signed a 'Business Agreement for the Activation of Foreign Investment Attraction and the Development of Local Talent' with Korea Maritime and Ocean University.
The signing ceremony, held the previous day at the university headquarters in Yeongdo-gu, Busan, was attended by Jang Sanghyun, CEO of KOTRA Invest Korea, and Do Deokhee, President of Korea Maritime and Ocean University, among others.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate mutually to activate information exchange for foreign investment attraction and support talent recruitment for foreign-invested companies.
Following the signing ceremony, the 'KOTRA Visiting Foreign-Invested Companies Recruitment Briefing' was held at Korea Maritime and Ocean University on the same day. This is the first official collaborative project linked to the agreement. Invest Korea provided students of Korea Maritime and Ocean University with information on recruitment trends of foreign-invested companies and recruitment information of foreign-invested companies located in Busan.

CEO Jang said, "Through this agreement, a long-term cooperative relationship between the two organizations has been established," adding, "We expect the activation of foreign investment attraction in marine industries such as shipbuilding, shipping, and logistics, as well as the promotion of recruitment support exchanges for related foreign-invested companies."
