[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province is supporting consulting to strengthen the Investor Relations (IR) capabilities of startups in the province interested in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and is promoting a project aimed at facilitating M&A matching between selling and buying companies.
On the 12th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will carry out the "'2022 Second Half Startup M&A Investor Relations (IR) Consulting and Matching Day' program."
The project consists of two programs: ▲Investor Relations (IR) consulting ▲Matching Day between companies wishing to sell and buy.
The 'Investor Relations (IR) consulting' involves establishing promotion strategies and supporting the production of IR and IM materials based on one-on-one consulting with professional consultants who have experience in successful M&A, strategic investment, and joint venture establishment.
The 'Matching Day' provides an opportunity for startups interested in M&A (including strategic investment and joint venture establishment) to meet with buying companies (small and medium enterprises, mid-sized companies, large corporations, listed companies, etc.).
Startups with excellent technology within 7 years of establishment in the province can participate, and through the 'Gyeonggi Fair M&A Support Center' and intermediary/advisory institutions, they can also receive professional consultation and consulting in related legal, accounting, and tax fields necessary during the M&A process.
