National Suncheon University - Jeonnam Office of Education Begin Establishment and Operation of 'High School Education Cooperation Office'
Expectations for Revitalizing Educational Cooperation Projects Centered on Specialized Personnel Dispatched by Jeonnam Office of Education
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon National University (President Ko Young-jin) announced on the 11th that it has established the "High School Education Cooperation Office" and began full-scale operations from the 1st to strengthen high school-university education cooperation projects with the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education, including the full implementation of the high school credit system ('25).
The High School Education Cooperation Office will focus on activating linked projects with the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education and intensively supporting education cooperation projects necessary for nurturing local talent, including ▲ support for the high school credit system ▲ support for career and college admission programs ▲ support for elementary and secondary education linkage programs ▲ and other education office elementary and secondary education cooperation projects.
Established under the Admissions Office, the High School Education Cooperation Office is mainly staffed by professionals dispatched from the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education and plans to promote various cooperation projects for regional education development.
Since March, Suncheon National University and the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education have begun discussions to establish the High School Education Cooperation Office to create a communication channel for nurturing local talent.
To this end, the university’s Planning Office organized a preparatory committee for the establishment, going through a systematic preparation process including enacting operation regulations for the High School Education Cooperation Office, defining organizational roles and space allocation, and installing customized office construction, leading to the official launch of the office on the 1st.
