CJ Freshway, Exclusive B2B Sales of Signature Mala Hotpot Sauce from Haidilao
Exclusive Sales Rights Acquired for Cooking Sauces of Popular Chinese Dishes Mala Tang, Xiang Guo, and Huo Guo
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] CJ Freshway announced on the 11th that it has secured the exclusive domestic B2B channel sales rights for the sauce products of China’s largest hot pot brand, Haidilao.
CJ Freshway’s distributed products include a variety of sauces such as Haidilao’s Mala Hot Pot Sauce, Malatang Sauce, and Malaxiangguo Sauce. For B2B channels such as dining and catering companies and food material marts, 1kg large-capacity products are distributed, and small-packaged sauces for 2-3 servings are also introduced considering consumers who cook Chinese food at home. Plans to add ready-to-eat product lines will be implemented in the future.
Haidilao’s sauces are richly infused with fermented doubanjiang, high-quality Sichuan pepper, chili peppers, and other spices to faithfully reproduce the authentic mainland taste. As the popularity of mala-flavored sauces continues, the company expects high demand since these sauces are used as basic ingredients in various menus popular among domestic consumers, including Mala Hot Pot, Xiangguo, beef noodles, jjambbong, and Mala Longxia.
