View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] LG Electronics announced on the 11th that its Whisen Tower air conditioner has become the first domestic stand-type air conditioner to receive the ‘UL GREENGUARD Gold’ certification, which evaluates the safety of indoor air quality.
UL GREENGUARD is an indoor air quality safety certification granted by UL Solutions, a global safety science company, which strictly measures the emission levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from products. This certification requires meeting even more stringent VOC emission standards to ensure safe use not only in general environments such as homes and offices but also in indoor environments sensitive to air quality, such as schools and medical facilities primarily used by children and the elderly.
The LG Whisen Tower air conditioner boasts excellent air purification performance for indoor air quality management as well as the advantage of hygienically managing the inside of the air conditioner. Its automatic cleaning management includes: ▲Filter Clean Bot (Stage 1), which automatically cleans the ultra-fine filter ▲Antibacterial ultra-fine filter (Stage 2) that removes bacteria that may adhere to the filter ▲Air purification certified by the Korea Air Cleaning Association CAC (Stage 3) ▲Heat exchanger cleaning (Stage 4) that washes away dust and contaminants attached to the heat exchanger ▲AI drying (Stage 5) that automatically sets the optimal drying time to dry moisture inside the air conditioner ▲99.99% UV LED fan sterilization certified by TUV Rheinland (Stage 6), all of which meticulously and thoroughly manage the airflow path automatically.
Even after purchase, new functions can be continuously added through upgrades. LG Electronics recently expanded its product lineup with optional additional features so customers can purchase the Whisen Tower air conditioner at a more economical price. Customers can also use it as a rental service, paying a fixed monthly fee without the burden of initial purchase costs, which includes air conditioner maintenance and inspection.
