Gangnam-gu to Host G-KPOP Concert... 12 Teams Including Highlight Participate
July 15-17, 7 PM, 90-minute concerts at COEX East Plaza... Unite, Cherry Bullet, OnlyOneOf, AB6IX open the first day; P1Harmony, Secret Number, LABOUM, Weki Meki on the 16th; Mirae Boys, KARD, Everglow, Highlight perform on the 17th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Seongmyeong Jo) will hold the G-KPOP Concert at the east plaza of COEX from 7 PM for 90 minutes over three days, from the 15th to the 17th.
The event will feature 12 KPOP artist groups. UNITE, Cherry Bullet, OnlyOneOf, and AB6IX will open the concert on the first day; on the 16th, P1Harmony, Secret Number, LABOUM, and Weki Meki will perform; and on the 17th, Mirae Boys, KARD, Everglow, and Highlight will take the stage.
The concert is free, and unlike last year when it was held online to prevent the spread of COVID-19, this year about 1,000 standing seats will be available. Seats will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 2 PM on-site without reservations. Those unable to attend in person can watch the live broadcast on the YouTube channels ‘Gangnam-gu’, ‘1TheK’, and the ‘UPLIVE’ app.
In addition to the performances, various side events are prepared. The Parnas Food & Drink Zone and fan club free giveaway booths will operate throughout the event period, and on the second day, the 16th, a K-POP EDM party will follow immediately after the concert.
