Gyeongbuk Office of Education Produces 'Survival-Type Nutrition and Dietary Education Video'
Educational Video for Students Eating Alone
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] The Gyeongbuk Office of Education will produce a survival-type nutrition and dietary education video for students who have to eat alone, over two days from July 8 to 9, at the nutrition education room of Gampo Elementary School in Gyeongju.
Recently, with the increase of dual-income families and the impact of COVID-19, the number of students who have to eat alone at home has increased. However, most students find it difficult to use basic cooking utensils or prepare simple dishes such as cooking rice or frying eggs.
Accordingly, the Office of Education plans to produce and distribute educational videos in cooperation with the nutrition teacher club (Nutrition e) covering three sessions: ▲Session 1 - How to use cooking tools and utensils ▲Session 2 - How to cook frozen and convenience foods ▲Session 3 - Simple fried rice and easy cooking.
Once the survival-type nutrition and dietary education videos are produced and distributed, they are expected to help students who have relied on instant or fast food due to difficulty in cooking, and also enable lower-grade students to easily understand cooking, making the videos useful for various classes.
