Isu Chemical Publishes First Sustainability Management Report
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Isu Chemical announced on the 6th that it has published its first Sustainability Management Report as part of efforts to strengthen ESG management.
Isu Chemical included strategic directions for achieving ESG management goals and seven core tasks. The strategic direction, called 3I, consists of sustainable eco-friendly Innovation, social Impact creation, and transparent business Integrity. Each covers activities and plans related to climate change response, respect for human rights and diversity, ethical management, and compliance management.
A separate ESG Fact Book was created to quantify major management achievements from an ESG perspective. This enhanced the transparency and authenticity of non-financial information disclosure.
The report also introduces key activities and detailed achievements by area, new business plans considering sustainable growth, and social contribution activities. Isu Chemical’s Sustainability Management Report is available for anyone to view on its website.
To systematically promote ESG management, Isu Chemical has established an ESG Management Committee under the CEO in addition to the Sustainability Management Report, creating a system to review and make decisions on company-wide ESG management issues. The company is working to internalize ESG management through ESG education for employees and monthly magazine publications.
