Korea Electric Power Corporation Conducts Mutual Aid Activities in Sinan Fishing Village
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] On the 28th, Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) Offshore Wind Power Project Group and Jeonjampo Village, Imja-myeon, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do signed a sisterhood agreement to promote mutual friendship and joint development, and carried out volunteer activities to support the fishing village along with providing supplies.
During the event, supplies worth approximately 1.27 million KRW, including rice, bottled water, and ramen, were delivered to the village hall and senior citizens' center. KEPCO employees who participated in the event took the first step toward win-win cooperation by conducting coastal environmental cleanup activities.
Gu Dong-yeol, head of Jeonjampo Village, stated, “Through this sisterhood agreement, I hope that the friendship between KEPCO Offshore Wind Power Project Group and our village will be further strengthened and that we can achieve mutual development.”
The KEPCO Offshore Wind Power Project Group said, “We hope to continue win-win activities such as volunteer work supporting the fishing village and providing supplies to the village, so that we can be of even small help.”

Meanwhile, the KEPCO Offshore Wind Power Project Group has been continuously providing supplies and volunteer activities, including supporting four social welfare facilities with supplies worth approximately 11 million KRW in January and April of this year.
