It proceeded with guidance on the council’s basic status, upcoming legislative schedules, the roles and duties of council members, asset registration, prohibition of concurrent positions, and other laws and systems related to local council operations.
Lee Sang-young, the 8th-term chairman of the Jinju City Council, encouraged the new members by saying, “I hope you will lead the 9th-term Jinju City Council well through communication and cooperation.” The elected members expressed their determination, stating, “As representatives of the citizens, we will not lose our initial resolve, will communicate with the citizens, and do our best for the development of the local community and the Jinju City Council.”
