Discussion on Joint Upgrade of Information Security Levels between Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and Partner Companies

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Kwang-hoon) held the first half of this year's partner company information security council on the 27th at the main building of the Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters in Gijang-gun, Busan.
The Partner Company Information Security Council was established to jointly respond to cyber threats between the Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters and resident partner companies within the business site, aiming to discuss current issues and improve information security levels together through technology sharing.
About 50 people, including information security officers from Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters and partner companies, as well as field representatives, attended the council to conduct training on major information security violation cases and reaffirm their commitment to active participation in information security activities.
They shared trends and incident cases regarding the increasing cyber threats to public institutions, as well as methods to respond to the surge in hacking emails and measures to address security vulnerabilities in personal PCs.
