Conflict Between Kim Heejae's Agency and Concert Organizer: "Unpaid Appearance Fees" vs "False Claims"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Singer Kim Heejae's agency has filed a lawsuit to nullify a contract against a concert planning company.
On the 27th, the agency Sky E&M announced, "We filed a complaint to the Seoul Eastern District Court on the 24th to nullify the contract against Moco ENT, the concert planning company contracted for Kim Heejae's fan concert and nationwide tour."
According to Sky E&M, Moco ENT failed to pay the singer the performance fees for 5 out of 8 scheduled performances, despite the contractual obligation to pay by the due date. The performances included 2 shows in Seoul (July 9 and 10), 2 shows in Busan (July 23 and 24), 2 shows in Gwangju (July 30 and 31), and 2 shows in Changwon (August 6 and 7).
They added, "We requested payment fulfillment from Moco ENT via certified mail on the 13th, but the performance fees were not paid."
In response, Moco ENT denied the claims as "false," stating, "We prepaid the performance fees for 3 shows according to the contract and are currently requesting negotiations regarding the payment for the remaining 5 shows."
