A Man in His 30s Arrested for Breaking into a Jewelry Store and Stealing 80 Million Won Worth of Precious Metals

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] An incident occurred where a man in his 30s broke the entrance door of a gold and silver shop, trespassed without permission, stole the displayed precious metals, and fled.
On the 23rd, the Busan Police Agency announced that at around 4:30 a.m. on the 22nd, Mr. A stole precious metals worth approximately 80 million won from a gold trading center located in Nampo-dong, Jung-gu, Busan.
According to the police, Mr. A broke the entrance door of the gold trading center with a brick, entered, took precious metals from the display case, put them into a bag, and escaped. The act was fully captured on CCTV.
The Jungbu Police Station deployed all members of the detective team to track Mr. A's movements and arrested him on a nearby street at around 6:25 a.m., about two hours after the crime occurred.
After arresting Mr. A, the police recovered all the stolen precious metals and returned them to the gold trading center.
