Gwangju Seo-gu 'Veterans Family Love Sharing Grand Festival' Held

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 23rd that it held the ‘Great Festival of Sharing Love with Veterans’ Families’ at La Festa Wedding Hall, attended by over 300 members and families of 11 veterans organizations in the district in celebration of the Month of Patriots and Veterans.

Held under the subtitle ‘Thank you. We will not forget the sacrifice of the national heroes,’ this event was organized to enhance the honor and pride of veterans’ families who dedicated themselves to the country and to reflect on the meaning of veterans’ affairs.

The first part of the event featured a viewing of a patriotic veterans promotional video and a commemorative ceremony including awards for exemplary veterans.

The second part included lively performances such as magic shows, Hallyangmu (traditional Korean dance), and invited singers, creating an occasion for harmony and communication among veterans’ families.

A Seo-gu official said, “I hope this event provided some comfort to the veterans’ families, and we deeply appreciate that thanks to those who sacrificed and dedicated themselves to the country, future generations enjoy freedom and peace.”

He added, “The district will continue to pay more attention to improving welfare so that veterans’ families receive proper respect and will strive to spread a warm culture of veterans’ affairs.”
