Gyeonggi Province Participates in 'Seoul International Tourism Fair' with Korea Tourism Organization... Operates Gyeonggi Pavilion
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will participate in the "37th Seoul International Tourism Fair" held at COEX in Seoul from the 23rd to the 26th, operating the Gyeonggi Tourism Promotion Hall equipped with photo zones and experience zones.
The province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization will create a photo zone vividly showcasing the charm of the Gyeonggi Sea by utilizing the yacht at Jeongok Port in Hwaseong and the red lighthouse at Oido in Siheung at the COEX Hall A exhibition hall, and will produce three-dimensional alleys highlighting the unique characteristics of each Gyeonggi tourism themed street.
Visitors can directly enjoy interesting media experiences such as smart tables and kiosks to obtain information about major tourist attractions and local festivals, and various experience programs such as making mood lights and playing Dalgona (Korean sugar candy) will also be conducted.
In addition, various souvenirs will be given through on-site events such as quizzes and games related to Gyeonggi tourism.
A provincial official stated, "Through the operation of this promotion hall, we hope many visitors will feel the charm of Gyeonggi tourism and that domestic and international tourism industries as well as local governments nationwide will take an interest."
Meanwhile, on the first day of the event, employees of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization plan to attract attention to the promotion hall and Gyeonggi tourism by presenting various events through Instagram live broadcasts.
