Jungjingong Partners with CJ Logistics to Support Online Export Logistics and Customs Clearance
Up to 30% Discount on International Express Shipping Costs for E-commerce Export SMEs
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of SMEs, Minister Lee Young) and the Small and Medium Business Corporation (hereinafter referred to as SBC, Chairman Kim Hak-do) announced on the 21st that they will collaborate with CJ Logistics to provide logistics cost discounts and simplified export customs clearance services for online export SMEs.
This collaboration is a follow-up measure under the 'Caring Company 2.0 Agreement' signed between the Ministry of SMEs and CJ Logistics, aimed at securing logistics competitiveness for export SMEs. According to the 'Online Export Companies Logistics Difficulty Survey' announced by SBC in April this year, 89.1% of online export companies reported experiencing logistics difficulties. The main difficulties were high logistics costs (81.7%), delivery time (45%), and export customs clearance (20.7%).
Through this collaboration, CJ Logistics plans to offer international express service fees with discounts ranging from a basic 15% up to 30% for export SMEs, helping micro and early-stage export companies reduce logistics costs. Additionally, for export shipments requested by online export companies to CJ Logistics via list customs clearance, CJ Logistics will provide free access to the 'Export List Conversion Reporting System,' which automatically converts these into simplified export declarations.

Eligible companies are SMEs with export volumes originating from Korea, and applications will be accepted through the GoBiz Korea website starting today. Kim Hak-do, Chairman of SBC, stated, "International express services and export declarations are areas with high entry barriers for early-stage export companies due to cost and procedural burdens," adding, "This collaboration with CJ Logistics will contribute to reducing logistics cost burdens and revitalizing export declarations for export SMEs."
