Lotte Veteran with Over 30 Years of Experience in Distribution Industry Recruited
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] HDC I'Park Mall, a distribution specialist company within the HDC Group, announced on the 21st that it has appointed President Kim Dae-su(photo) as the new CEO. Kim's term will begin on the 1st of next month.
I'Park Mall stated that it recruited an external expert with experience in the distribution industry as CEO to respond more actively to the rapidly changing distribution market and to expand its business areas.
Born in 1967, President Kim joined Lotte Department Store's merchandise headquarters in 1990 and has built over 30 years of expertise in the distribution industry. He served as the head of marketing at Lotte Department Store and as the head of the metropolitan area 1 regional headquarters, gaining diverse experience in merchandise operations, MD, and marketing. During his tenure at Lotte Department Store, he was in charge of marketing for the distribution BU overseeing Lotte Group's distribution companies, organizing the fashion-themed marathon 'Lotte Style Run,' and conducting the 'KAWS: Holiday Korea' project, which featured the popular character 'KAWS' floating on Seokchon Lake.

President Kim said, "We will further develop the Yongsan branch by implementing various contents that can lead the distribution industry, such as customer-centered marketing, strengthening trendy fashion MD preferred by customers, and reinforcing rising MDs like golf and pets. We will also strive for the successful opening of I'Park Mall's second branch, 'The Grow,' scheduled to open in Gocheok-dong, Guro-gu, at the end of this year."
