Daegu Catholic University held the "President's Chicken and Beer End Party" on the 17th at the campus' 100th Anniversary Plaza, where President Woo Dong-gi spent time communicating with students and faculty members.

The event was organized ahead of the end of the first semester this year to encourage university members who have been exhausted by COVID-19 over the past three years and to promote a more vibrant university life in the second semester.
About 500 students and faculty members attended the event and enjoyed free chicken, craft beer, and beverages.
This event was supported by Kwon Won-gang, founder of Kyochon Chicken, who donated 500 chickens, Hwang Young-rye, director of the Naraeol Research Institute, and Pastor Jo Won-kyung of Hayang Muhakro Church, who donated beverages for 1,000 people. President Woo Dong-gi also contributed his personal funds to support the event's operation.

Woo Dong-gi, president of Daegu Catholic University, said, "I am pleased to hold an event to happily conclude the semester thanks to the valuable donations from those who love our university," and added, "I hope that in the second semester, we can restore daily life more and have a lively university life on campus again."
