On the 20th, during a closed daily meeting, Commissioner Kim reportedly said, "The advisory committee's recommendations address the most sensitive and important issues in our police history," and urged, "We must gather all our efforts and wisdom together." He also emphasized, "The committee's claims do not sufficiently encompass the history of the Police Act, so we must strive to make this known to many citizens," adding, "We must convey our sincerity with earnest and desperate hearts." Commissioner Kim reportedly requested that once the advisory committee's recommendations are announced, each command and function actively explain the issues with the recommendations and the police's stance.
