KT M Mobile Sells Budget Phone SIM Cards at Apple Authorized Reseller Stores
Lotte Hi-Mart and Willis USIM Product Supply
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] KT M Mobile, a budget phone company, announced on the 20th that it has signed a 'USIM product supply' partnership with Lotte Hi-Mart and Willis, official Apple resellers, and will sell no-contract USIM cards at stores nationwide.
The stores where USIM cards can be purchased include a total of 441 locations: 420 Lotte Hi-Mart stores and 21 Willis stores.
KT M Mobile's no-contract USIM plans include ▲Ultra-low-cost plan (3,900 KRW/month) ▲Moduda Mamkkeot 7GB++ (17,500 KRW/month) ▲Moduda Mamkkeot 11GB++ (33,900 KRW/month).
Consumers can purchase a USIM card and then subscribe through the 'Self Activation' section on the KT M Mobile Direct Mall or via phone consultation at the activation center. For customers unfamiliar with non-face-to-face activation, the product packaging includes a QR code linking to a web page with self-activation procedures and explanations.
Additional benefits include up to 33,000 KRW monthly billing discounts when using affiliated cards such as Lotte Card and KB Kookmin Card for automatic telecom bill payments.
