Boseong-gun Launches Campaign to Revitalize Traditional Markets
Traditional Market Merchants Association, Boseong-gun Branch of the Central Consumer Education Association, and Public Officials Participate
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] On the morning of the 17th, Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, announced that it conducted a joint public-private "Price Stabilization and Traditional Market Utilization Promotion Campaign" at Nokchagol Boseong Local Market.
About 30 participants, including the traditional market merchants' association, the Consumer Education Central Association Boseong Branch, and public officials, took part in the campaign to promote the establishment of a proper consumption culture and create an atmosphere of price stabilization.
In particular, the campaign promoted price stabilization and a sound commercial culture, encouraged compliance with the origin labeling and price display system for agricultural and marine products, and urged the use of traditional markets.
A county official said, "As it is an economically difficult time for everyone due to the recent sharp rise in prices, we ask for your cooperation in price stabilization by using traditional markets and refraining from unreasonable price increases."
